Songwriter Notes:
The song Iron Horse was first created sometime in the early 1980's,with the melody on my mind and the the chord progression Since I.never could find the right lyrics for the song,yet I knew the theme of the song was to be a tribute to our native Americans as an instrumental.This recorded version of the song was made sometime around 2003,The original source for the cover art is from the water color painting The Iron Horse Trail 1924 by C.M.Russell,then the actual cover art was created which I felt captured what the theme of the song is all about.
Recording Notes:
Most of the music tracks were recorded on a 4TRK,including both the 12 string and a six string acoutic guitars.After the mix went from analog to digital crossover I added the drums you hear at the begining and end of the song to help in the theme of the song,as a reminder of what it's about.
